its steps, one may affirm the principle of this basis. Of all bases, the strongest one is Fire. Of all
bases the heaviest one is limitation in selfhood. Under the symbol of Fire all principles are united.
Under the symbol of limitation a small circle of consciousness is drawn. Life collects the
universal energy through the creative fires. Humanity has been endowed with manifold threads of
the universal energy, but only through fiery attraction can life, as the basis, construct. Thus
resounds the great base of Be-ness.

154. How greatly the contrary mind of man shrinks its foundation by severing itself from the base
of universal energy! Each one who limits himself bears the evidence of severance from the
Cosmic Magnet. Only the principle which manifests the unity of universal energy can create life.
Therefore, every straining leads to harmonization if the universal energy lies at its base. When the
shifting is so great, cosmic centers are about to become aflame. Our seeds lie at the base of
universal energy. Thus, the fiery foundations affirm the Epoch of Maitreya.
155. When the creative rhythm strikes Earth, naturally the opposition is intensified. Each
luminary is so powerful that its rays reach Earth. Each cosmic manifestation evokes opposition
from the energies. During world reorganization, cosmic striving is transmitted to humanity.
Therefore, two cosmic courses are so vividly manifested. The guidance of the Origin of Light
attracts all the necessary elements. The guarantee lies in the Cosmic Magnet. The direction of
opposition is seen in the urge to destruction. Thus, the guarantee of the Cosmic Magnet builds the
future.
156. When the cosmic creativeness is tensed, the idea of reorganization is asserted. Hence, each
creative effort encounters a pressure. Therefore, each striving has its opposition. Thus, Our tasks
are in step with the Cosmic Magnet. Our Covenants build the future. Therefore We say,
 Maitreya creates through the Cosmic Magnet. Thus, all opposition leads to victory. Verily,
when My Spirit manifests a magnet identical to Earth's, victory can be affirmed. Let us remember
the doubled magnet!
157. Whence emanates the striving to the Cosmic Magnet? A correlation of energies is but
confirmed by attraction. Whence emanates heterogeneity and the attraction of dissimilar
energies? The affirmation of forms can result only from the fact of differing properties. Only
when heterogeneous properties are drawn into the creation does a true cosmic manifestation take
place. Only when the force of polarity is asserted does the force of attraction act. Thus, upon all
planes the affirmed polarities are asserted. The spirit which serves independently attracts the force
of the Cosmic Magnet. The formulation of thought attracts the needed evolution. The
participation of the heart brings a constructive vibration. Thus, the foundation of creativeness is
the awakening of the vibration of the heart.
158. It is not the manifestations of insensibility that can sustain the Cosmos! It is not measures of
passivity that can create! It is not encasement in a single shell that can build! Therefore, I say that
only the key of the heart and the achievement of self-sacrifice makes life out of a vibration. Only
the striving to independent action can develop the sensitiveness of receptivity. Therefore, the
spirit imbued with quest can ascend. Only the vibration of the heart creates. One can create only
through the vibration of the heart. The greatest power lies in the magnet of the heart. Through it
we seek, through it we create, through it we find, through it we attract. Thus let us remember;
thus I affirm. The magnetic vibration has molded all creative manifestations. Thus, Our close co-
workers, having accepted the beauty of the Teaching, will be strengthened by the magnetic
vibration.
159. Karma gathers the currents which are adapted to the affirmed improvement. When the spirit
strains all efforts, the manifestation of the transmutation can develop the best possibilities. Only
the adaptability to the karmic current provides the affirmed cosmic foundation. Thus, karma and
striving give to humanity the essential impulses. Only the guidance of karma carries one to the
step of Be-ness. Therefore, when man realizes the power of karma and strives to express the best
aspirations, his path is parallel with the universal energy. The universal energy attracts the
creative strivings. The future and the Infinite are thus being built.

160. The karma of misunderstood missions burdens one heavily. When the mission is affirmed as
a striving toward Light, then the manifestation of striving is marked as under the law of the
Magnet. Therefore, those who have understood the significance of karma can be affirmed by Our
Pledge. All who have accepted the foundations of karma can act in conformity. Only the Pledge
which has been cognized can cover all strivings. Thus, the karma which leads to the highest
worlds is the highest step.
161. The reorganization of the world stirs up multifold rushing vortices. Each reorganization
evokes the strokes of the cosmic rhythms. The rhythm of The Wheel of Life is so powerful that
resistance to it cannot be asserted. The cosmic whirl intensifies all oppositions but the power of
Reason engulfs the forces generated by opposition. Thus, the obstacles are swept away by the
rhythm of cosmic whirls.
162. The reorganization of the world strains all forces of the dark ones. Each wave of evolution
strains the forces of stagnant intent. When the world is divided into Light and dark forces, is it
possible that the affirmed resultants will not be born? The cosmic creativeness is intensified
through battle, and the battle proceeds upon all planes. Therefore, the manifestations which are
closest to Us show themselves first of all as forces which stimulate opposition. Therefore I say,
 The predestined will be fulfilled, the preordained will be fulfilled. One should preserve the joy
of the future; one should affirm victory!
163. The principle of shifting is determined by the Cosmic Magnet. Each change activates new
energies, and each spatial thought generates a new possibility. Therefore, when the shifting is
confirmed by departing forces, their end verily can be foreseen. Thus, before the rise of the New
Race the old foundations crumble. Each departing race therefore strenuously resists the assault.
Thus are the cosmic shiftings created.
164. The impulse of the departing forces calls up innumerable identical currents from space. The
manifestation of the approaching change greatly strains all the lower strata. For the affirmation of
the predestined, a striving spiral must be created. Therefore, the New Race is assemble under the
sign of victory. The step of manifested consummation is strained by the approach of the
appointed date.
165. The violation of the balance affects all planetary manifestations. An energy which has
violated the cosmic balance sets up a different direction. The link between the energies is
determined by the law of attraction. Therefore, every energy that responds to a new striving
